G.C.L. Progress One Brick at a Time.

          From the beginning. . .

In August of 2001, we celebrated our Grand Opening at    304 N. Park. Library patrons and county residents crowded into the new library to browse the new book shelves, read and relax in the comfortable reading area, sample a cup of coffee at the coffee buffet, or log on to the new computers.

The beautiful new Gentry County Library!

This lot ( which just happened to be across the street from the library's then location), was purchased to be the new home of the Gentry County Library. After a lot of clearing and demolition it was ready to go.

If you are interested in adding a leaf to our Donor Tree, our library has a variety of leaf options available this is a great thing to do as a family or in remembrance of a family member. Each leaf is engraved with the honoree's name as well as the person/s who gave the donation. It is truly a beautiful way to honor someone.
